Masters At Work by weirdink Masters At Work by weirdink
Every morning, across the big, snake-shaped river that runs through the Mystery World, a team of highly skilled and extra-hard working Mystery People arrives.
Growing lollipops is not an easy job you see. Mystery People have to check on every single one of them, and if the time is right, they call the Tree Matrix to pick them up. He will use some of them on the top of his head, right there where a huge patch of land has strangely grew. No matter how hard working at the lollipop field is, its also one of the most beautiful places in the Mystery World and everyone loves to be rostered up for the Lollipop Field. And the best thing ofcourse, is being so close to the Cloud Matrix, watching it painting the blue skies like a true artist. Mystery People love to be around when the Cloud Matrix wears his special cloud making hat. Its the one for trainning purposes. It makes some of the best looking clouds you ll ever get to see in your life. These clouds, althought considerably small, are send above the Lollipop Fields when its trainning time. You see, seducing and making clouds drool is not an easy job either;)

PS)It was about time to get back to my main project! At last, lady inspiration drop by the Weirdink HQ.. Had to work on a remake for the Cloud Matrix and I am pretty happy with it. Got to work on the candy floss machine and I also used spare parts from the other Matrices-which is good because they look more like siblings right now:) Too bad you can't see any details on the newly refurbished Cloud Matrix, I had to use a bit (?) of blur in order to capture the landscape and the working frenzy thats going at the back!!! Other than that, i am good and happy because at the beginning of this piece nothing clicked together and I thought I lost my touch, but as I said Im adequately satisfied, blah blah blah.

cheers!!!

Thanks!!! Its all made in Illustrator-as always. Its strange that people don't know about the true potential of Illustrator, I mean filters like Blur or Feather they can be used very easily with great success. Feather is great for making puffy clouds, you draw some basic shapes with the pencil tool and then feather it, very purdy looking clouds indeed :)

cheers!
